Greetings!
Leah has organised some great 'blitz'z around the Coast but now's the time to relax a bit and plan wot's wot for the New Year.
She's also offered to make a big pot of CHAI, so you just have to come!.
I've been collecting 'stuff' for a while now that I'm happy to pass onto others (barrows, posts, netting, tables etc). Whoever left the purple plastic bucket at Skiff Street the othe week, I've got it here.
If anyone's got materials or items of interest to other 'blitz'z, bring them along for swap or giving.
On Sunday 21st from 3 - 6pm, drop by at Rebecca's house - 12 Terrigal Crescent - Southport for a chat & wander around what's left of the garden after all the rain and the falling over of the big screen that had the passionfruit, pumpkins, cucumbers, tom's, peas/beas etc on it ( it's now the new Compost Bed).
Just across the road is the Loders Community Garden that is getting established & the delightful Butterfly & Sensis Garden & Bush Tucker Walk that was established sometime ago.
Things are getting busy with Rapid Transit Lightrail as well - dozers, trucks etc.
It will be lovely to cath up folks at Rosser Park tomorrow - 10 - 12.30pm. Community Gardens Xmas Party.
Don't forget - bring a plate, a friend, your enthusiasm & if you've got some potted-up seedlings, that would add interest to Ashmore Comm Gdns table.
C U there!!

Gold Coast Organic Growers: Organic Farmshare at the Currumbin Eco Village Ope...
Thanks for a very informative recount David - couldn't get down myself. The idea behind this project encompases everything that is holy about everything! Nice to see a viable life-style choice is now available. Love it when positive options can be realised..
